The two Italian chefs Emanuele Di Pofi and Nicola Catalano are known for their passionate commitment to good ingredients, uncompromising craftsmanship and their respect for the genuine Italian cuisine. Together with Emanuele's Norwegian girlfriend, Ine Charleen, they run the take-away pizzeria "Panzanella".
In their childhood, Emanuele and Nicola often made "Panzanella alla romana", which is toast topped with olive oil and fresh, juicy tomatoes. Panzanella became the name of the pizzeria because it reminds them of their childhood in Rome. It represents authentic, homemade Italian food, made from the best ingredients.
